Bandwidth for Stake Conference

Are other stakes shutting down WIFI totally while stake conference is being streamed in the sending building and receiving building? Do you feel this is necessary?

Would a simple announcement over the pulpit "Don't connect to the building's WIFI today", be enough?

Thanks.

Our stake has only used the Laptop projector combo. For almost all situations, we try hard to provide a wired connection, wireless is just weak, however, it's getting better. The ROKU box idea is good, but seems way to challenging to implement reliably. The biggest logistical problem is that of sett...

I tried that DBAN's USB boot, and it never would boot to the USB device, I ended up buring a CD and it worked. ON a side note, what happens to the 5 year old PCs that are turned into the FM group?

I ended up using information that I found here, and the old instructions. Windows 7 was fine. I ran ALL updates, including all Flash updates, installed Chrome, then installed all the church software. Everything worked perfectly. Not one error.

So, if someone's iPad had the Network ID and Password entered f...

We change the passwords periodically, and have by the direction of the stake president, we have the bishops provide it to those that need it. We change it periodically, simply to keep those from using it who have been released from callings where they needed it, but no longer need it. That's it. We ...

(With the standard issued password issued from the GSD) ? Or do I have to wait for my buildings to get all upgraded ...

Do I need to disable the Windows 7 Firewalls in order for Sophos to work right?
