Re: Part-member families

I realize this is an old request, but has anyone figured out a way to get a similar report from LCR?

Re: Export file from LDS.org rather than MLS

The problem with the Key Indicators is that the colored lines don't translate to a monochrome printer. So the ability to modify graphs is pretty important. My method described above works to get the base populations used for the quarterly report, but the actual visited sisters/families still have to...

Re: Do secretaries have to be re-called with a new presidenc

Look at Handbook 2, page 158. Last paragraph of section 19.5.

Re: Export file from LDS.org rather than MLS

I usually want data in a format that I can manipulate so exporting would be preferred over simply printing. My method is a little bit clunky but it works. Bring up the report with the data you want on the screen. Then hold your left mouse button down while you scroll down the page to the bottom of t...

Re: Tithing statement for new ward member's previous contrib

In addition to the records for local donations mentioned previously, there is an additional statement that is available. Each year in January a statement is sent to MLS for each member who donated to more than one unit during the previous year. This tax-valid statement is available in the Finance S...

Re: Bishop Tithing Declaration Process

My bishop uses "F", "P", or "N" for the status and "M" or "B" for who declared it. I provide him with a declaration report at the beginning of tithing settlement so he fills it in as we go. He tends to write other stuff in the remarks (not confidenti...

Re: Full-time missionaries on Quarterly Report

My ward has one sister who is assigned to visit teach our two Sister missionaries. She writes them a letter each month and includes the RS newsletter and the monthly message. We count them as visited.

Retention of patriarchal blessing recommends

Did some searching and didn't find my answer so I'll post up the question. I've been cleaning out some file cabinets and found several books containing the canary copies of patriarchal blessing recommends. These go back to the establishment of our ward in 1994 up to 2006. Is there any reason we shou...

Re: home teaching "not reported" category

I appreciate your concerns and have much the same issues when I try to fill out the quarterly report and the visits haven't been entered. I lean away from giving the PEC an easy way out. The job isn't done until the figurative paperwork is finished. I would suggest that you start with your priesthoo...

Re: Tithing Settlement

The last thing I would want to convey is that someone is wrong because they have a different viewpoint. I particularly agree with your comments about the burdens placed on our good bishops. I believe that may be one reason the date for starting tithing settlement continues to come earlier. We were d...
