OK, so our STS indicated to me at the end of March that "The Church wants us running XP for the time being." Has this stance now changed? We got our new computer at the end of January 2011 and it also has a license sticker for Windows 7. We've had some problems with XP on the machine that ...

Has there been any development in this issue? We just got a new computer at the end of January with a Windows 7 license, but it was downgraded to Windows XP (I was VERY disappointed). We are having several issues with the computer (i.e. no sound, and ATI problems discussed in another thread) and I w...

I am so glad that I am not the only one that has had this problem. I have tried to install new drivers, but I seem to be having the same problems. However, I have not tried to put a new video card in since I am a ward clerk and not the STS. My amazement with these new computers is that they come wit...

Wow, "you'll regret it" seems pretty ominous. However, I just changed my budgets from quarterly transfers to a yearly budget. Thanks for the advice.

You also might want to check with the local Jr. High and High Schools if their business teachers would want them. Not that I know of. If you want to give her more to worry about, the statistics also include anyone who moved out of the unit that quarter. In other words, the statistics are calculated using all the households whose records were in the unit during that quarter, regardless of how long they were the...

We received permission from our Stake President to bring a wireless router in during Sunday School for our Family History class to use. It is disconnected at the end of the class. But as with most items it would be up to your local leaders.

From what I remember, at one point in the late 90's (I'm not too sure of the dates) it wasn't necessary to record on then MIS who performed the priesthood ordinances. It then was placed back into the system a short time later. We have a ton of these in my ward. Every tithing settlement I have to exp...
