Are there any church-sponsored or church-themed apps for these devices.?

It don't have any of these devices, but I do know some people that do...

I got the email the other day saying that a new LDSTech website will be launched soon, what will that be like?

I would assume that the Church is glad that at least some stakes are using, so that they can provide feedback

On this note, the only place to sign out right now is on any of the tools pages.

Lets say on the day of a broadcast (ie general conference or first presidency christmas devotional) the satellite system in your building stops working for what ever reason it would. If your building had a meeting house webcast receiver, could you use it to watch it?

I see that the folks in Salt Lake City transitioning to the new LDS.org have put the new site at lds.org. However, the link at the bottom of the page to classic.lds.org goes to a page that apparently doesn't exist...

I'm not sure if these other buildings have installed internet jacks in/or near enough to the chapel that they would be able to pick up the broadcast wired...

My stake has just recently bought and has started to use the Church's webcast equipment. We have the stake conference eminating from the Stake Center and have 3 buildings recieving the webcast.
