Annotation performance

I'm a pretty heavy annotation user (10,025 and counting--I assume this is heavy). I've noticed that much of the time, when I go to a passage in Gospel Library that it may take as long as a minute or so for the annotations to load. I'm able to read the content, so it's not a "blocking" wait, it's just in order to see my annotations, I have to wait.

Are other users experiencing this? I use GL on both a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and Samsung Galaxy Note Tablet.

I love the annotation features. I would just love to not have to wait so long for them to load--especially in a meeting or classroom setting. Maybe I just need to make fewer annotations?
