Repeating events proposal

I was hoping this was going to be a feature of 3.0 but it looks like it isn't...

When scheduling an item that has repeating events and there is a conflict shown, it would be nice to have an option to schedule everything except the conflict rather than having to change your event and make multiple repeating schedules that start and stop around the one or two conflicts. For example, you go to schedule a weekly Cub Scout pack meeting and get everything set and when you click "Save" it gives you a warning because there are 3 times that the building is not available due to deep cleaning or a special Stake reservation, or whatever. So you have to change your repeating to end the week before the first one and then do another and another that each only cover the dates between the conflicts. These are not tied together in any way so if you need to make an adjustment, you have to do it all again.

Instead, I propose having a new button that shows up after the conflict is shown that says, schedule open dates only. It can even give a warning that it will not schedule the ones for the dates that have conflicts. Then it is tied together for future changes.

This is a well known requirement.
