Calendar conflict - date put on the calendar

#1

Post by trebblemakers3@gmail.com »

We have a conflict with the wards in our building. I am 100% certain that we scheduled first but need to prove it. Is there a way to actually see when something was put on the calendar. Not the date it was scheduled for but the date it was added..

Do you have a screenshot (with time-date-stamp) showing your event? Capturing a screenshot might be a good defensive action for future events.

Great idea in the future. Does not help this specific conflict.

One of you will have an actual event with rooms reserved. The other of you should not have been able to schedule over the event that was first scheduled. Other than that, I do not see a way to tell when an event was added to the Calendar.

A common error is that one event does not include the reservation but rather has the rooms or location in the text box. They have not made a reservation because they did not include the rooms in the Calendar app itself. The event with the rooms reserved in the application and not just the event text box has a valid reservation.

If both events just have the rooms or location in the event text box, then neither really have a reservation.

Unfortunately the other ward scheduled the 'font' and not the gym because we had it scheduled. They are saying that they still scheduled first. We will get over it but I have a feeling this will happen again and would like to have some evidence to share the truth.

If someone using the gym would be a problem for those using the font, they should have scheduled the gym.

In fact, depending on the building layout, perhaps the stake should consider combining the gym and the font into a single "room" so it's not possible to create conflicting events. That's what my stake has done with the font in the stake center.
