Calendar Event Times vs Resource Allocation Times Question

In the classic calendaring system, it was easy to allow for pre-event setup and post-cleanup times. It showed the actual event time correctly on the event calendar and showed the extra reserved time for the needed resource on the resource calendar. How can this be handled in the New Calendar system?
