Does anyone know if in the current version of Clerk Resources if you can directly email Membership or Finance Support? Will this be supported in future versions?

It could be, but this is the first time I've seen the question raised.

That's not correct. It's advertised in many places that you can send email to firstname.lastname@example.org or to email@example.com. There are some restrictions on attachments, but you can't attach files from MLS anyway. I've sent emails this way and gotten responses.
Questions that can benefit the larger community should be asked in a public forum, not a private message.
Yes, you can send general emails to those addresses (which I have and received responses). The post by dfchamplain referred to encrypted emails, which was ambiguous. I wondered if he was referring to special requests, which again I believe can only be sent through MLS, which seems to be implied from the wiki article on move restrictions (http://tech.lds.org/wiki/Move_restriction).
