Report of Parents of Youth and Children

#1

Post by scottw447 »

I need to create a report that contains the names and addresses of all of the parents of youth and children (ages 0 -18). I am not finding such a report in either MLS or LCR. I have also checked the create custom reports options in both systems and have been unable to find any way to identify those members that match the above criteria. Does anyone have any ideas on how to create this report?

Thanks for any help you can give.

In LCR Reports, select Unit Statistics. Then click on the numbers next to Households with Youth and Households with Children.

You may need to take those lists back through Directory to get the addresses, but that should not be too difficult.

Why not create a custom report with household position being son, daughter, other, AND age => 1 AND =< 18? Then choose for the columns, name, address (combo you prefer), and Head of house and spouse. You might have to just double check some of them, but that should do it I think.

Edit: add in age just to make sure you're getting what you're looking for

Running the report, mine isn't giving me the spouse, so you may need to cross reference it from another report.

>= 18, then columns: spouse name, address, has children (sort this afterward) and just pick the ones that match the other report 1-18 yo children.

Thank for the help. I did end up having to do this in two steps since no single report had everything that was needed.
