As mentioned above, giving all adults access to edit a calendar isn't the best idea the way it's currently set up (because of scheduling resources and moving around what others have put in). But one way to give all adults access, hypothetically, would be to give every adult a calling as "Indexing Worker" (or "Ward Missionary") – since we should all be involved in Family History and Missionarywork, right? :) Then give all Indexing Workers editing access.

While there might not be one that the church has, you can use a google doc form for this. I use them all the time for a club I am a leader of. We have many service opportunities and it allows people to sign up, and for those who are organizing to collect the information and view it etc. Since it feeds the form data to a google spreadsheet you can take it from there and do what you need too.

Also also the distribution of rights to allow organizers to have viewing or editing rights.
