I'm looking to build a custom position list, beginning with these:
Assistant Compassionate Service Leader
Family History Group Night Facilitator
Pray Caller
Quilting Chairperson
Relief Society Enrichment Coordinator
Sacrament Greeter
Sewing Specialist
Technology Specialist
Ward Bulletin Specialist
Youth Family History Coordinator

If any of these help getting the good people in your ward to re-activate, please add a few of your own. The larger the list the better chance of finding the right calling for a few souls who need a reason to come to church.

What is a "Pray Caller"?

Also, I would discourage calling people as a "Sacrament Greeter" because it has become synonymous with "we couldn't come up with an assignment for you but we wanted to assign you something." Callings should make people feel needed. There could be individuals who really enjoy greeting people, smiling, and handing out programs, but in most cases from what I've seen it ends up being a less-meaningful experience.

EDIT: I think assigning someone, on a rotating basis or from time to time, to be a greeter is great, just as you would assign someone to give the prayer. But I don't think it should be a regular calling.

I think different calls are good for different people for different reasons at different times.

The person who calls members to pray in Sacrament meeting and prays that their name and number was not recognized on caller ID and maybe answer the phone.
