Using Church leadership images for an app

Hi there,

I'm working on a personal project that might include using images of latter-day Prophets and Apostles and others. Similar to President Eyring's image used here: https://www.lds.org/liahona/2015/09/fam ... M&lang=eng.

I have a couple questions about this:
1. Is this allowed? The app that I'm thinking about would be using their images to attribute things they said to them. Images aren't necessary but certainly would make the user experience better.

2. Is there an API or something that would help me query for images and get them back in a usable (possibly JSON) format? Or is there a URI format that I can alter depending on the church leader I'm looking for?

If there is, it's probably intended for internal use by lds.org. I've not heard of a API like that.
