So we just became a new ward, and so our HT is starting from the ground up. I went on the LCR to start plugging in names and companions. However, I wasn't aware that if I saved them, then they were officially on LDS tools directory. Is there a way to plug in names and figure it all out before submission to the bishop? Or do we have to print out the names and do it on paper THEN submit THEN plug into LCR?

There is no "tentative" assignments. You'll have to do it on paper if you want that.
