Brothers & Sisters,
My branch president told me that I could find an application on this website that I could print out and fill out, then have him sign so that I could have my request considered to work in the Salt Lake Temple. But after 40 minutes of looking in all the links throughout the family history, temple, and calling sections, I cannot find this paper he spoke of. Could anyone please send me the link, or copy & paste it into this thread, please? My spirit is willing but my flesh is being dumb.
Sincerely,
Bro. R. Brown

Re: Working in the Temples
Clerks may have access to such a form, but the general membership does not.

Re: Working in the Temples
I believe the form comes from the Temple. I have never seen it in MLS or LCR as ward clerk. A few years ago, our Bishop asked all the High Priests in our ward to consider becoming temple workers (even if for just 1 period each month) and he provided the forms he received from the Temple.

There is also an online way of recommending in some temple districts, but I have never seen it. I think bishops can access it, and then stake presidents. I am not sure that even the stake clerk can get to it.davesudweeks wrote:I believe the form comes from the Temple.

Re: Working in the Temples
Access to twp.ldschurch.org (linked to from the LCR Applications menu) is only available to temple presidents, stake/mission presidents, bishops, and branch presidents. Its main purpose is to automate the process of calling ordinance workers and volunteers, and to replace the confidential paper form.
