When creating events, like a teaching event for example, integrating Google Calendar might help people to keep their appointments.
The functionality in Google Calendar that would help this is;
1) RSVPing to the event (a second method of agreeing to an appointment)
2) Notifications are sent to the person that was invited to the event
3) The event will show up on the person's calendar automatically

If you're intending that as an imperative, to whom are you directing it? This is a user-to-user mutual-support forum, not an official feature request channel. While there are a couple of developers who are active here and _might_ see this topic/thread, their assignments and priorities are not of their own choosing.shafer95 wrote:...

If you wish to influence toward your ideas being implemented, there are two methods that might have effect: 1) Use the 'Feedback' button or link to send the request to service missionaries, who will log it and put it on the stack of ideas for the decision-makers to consider; 2) Send the suggestion through your bishop or stake president up the ecclesiastical chain of command. If enough bishops and/or stake presidents make the request, it will be considered.

The developers take their orders from the top church leadership. Not the local leaders or members.
Right now, I'm sure the developers are really busy implementing all the changes that have been announced.

Thanks for the clarification. I've been wondering about the forum's role in the feature request system....rmrichesjr wrote: If you're intending that as an imperative, to whom are you directing it? Great idea! We've actually tried some Google Calendar integration that didn't meet our hopes for reasons, and we've also talked about things like you suggest... just not decided or prioritized quite yet.
btw: Area Book Planner users can provide feedback that is reviewed and considered using the suggest a feature action in the Settings screen of the app. We don't really frequent this forum - or at least I don't - but a team member noticed it and pointed it out.
