I have been asked by our EQ to present a lesson on performing priesthood blessings and ordinances, including some discussion of "How do I...?"

I have the instructions for performing the ordinances from HB2, however, is this information in publication someplace that I can provide to the members of the quorum for their own personal reference? Years ago it used to be published in the back of the Priesthood manual, but that was before the Teachings of the Prophets serious. Return missionaries have it in the Missionary Handbook (White), but I'm also concerned about the recent converts in our quorum.

I'm just wondering if it's in a pre-printed reference publication for general members use.

Three places:

1. Church Handbook of Instructions, Book 2, pages 171-174.

2. Lesson 5, "Performing Priesthood Ordinances," in Duties and Blessings of the Priesthood, Part B, pages 40-47.

3. "Priesthood Ordinances and Blessings" in the Family Guidebook, pages 15-20.

You cannot hand out the 1st source, of course.

Quite a few members of your quorum should have the 2nd source.

The 3rd source is available as a free distribution center item if you get it ordered in time. Every member of your quorum should be given a copy.

I would go for ordering the 3rd source. The price is right.
