HTML Code for Online Pass-along Cards
In accordance with Elder Ballard's admonition that we use new media to share the gospel, I was thinking of putting a banner or button on my website that had a link to Mormon.org so that visitors to my blog could learn about the Church from the source. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on how to create a professional-looking banner with a link to the Church that I've seen on some websites?

Boy, that would be terrific if the Church could provide some to the Community, maybe even the same ones they use for online advertisement. Or maybe a Community project could be sponsored by the Church where volunteers design some advertisements for use by other Community members in the way you describe.Nic_Rossi wrote:In accordance with Elder Ballard's admonition that we use new media to share the gospel, I was thinking of putting a banner or button on my website that had a link to Mormon.org so that visitors to my blog could learn about the Church from the source. Just some ideas, but they would both involve approval and sponsorship from Church employees and their legal department.

They had something like this on an earlier version of mormon.org, but they disappeared roughly two or three years ago. It was part of an online greeting card system they had set up there.
You could send greeting cards to people, and you could also send 'electronic pass-along cards' as they were called, as well. Those offered the same media items the printed ones do.
