Re: Online Donations
According to LDS Living, online tithing should now be available to all members in the US.

Yeah, drepouille noted that a few posts ago, and he cited the official Online Donations help page.Mikerowaved wrote:According to LDS Living, online tithing should now be available to all members in the US.

Re: Online Donations
I've been sending my tithing donations directly to SLC to avoid having my donations visible to ward clerks, bishopric, etc. Is there any way to maintain this anonymity with the online payment system?
Thanks for your help.

Re: Online Donations
I have a member who wants to donate to a specific Missionary in a different Ward. How is that done? I would think it would be easy by having the option to put in their name and ward #.

Re: Online Donations
Yes, that's how it is done. When you select the dropdown under Ward Missionary Fund, the first option is "Missionary in Other Ward/Branch." You then enter the unit # for the ward/branch, and then you can select the particular missionary.Jeraymond wrote:I have a member who wants to donate to a specific Missionary in a different Ward. Re: Online Donations
If you click on "Missionary in Other Ward/Branch" and then click on "How to get a Ward/Branch number?" (under the "Ward/Branch Number" field), at the end it says "Contact the ward or branch to get this unit number". I'm surprised it doesn't say to contact your home ward/branch clerk to get the number. All clerks have access to cdol and it's very easy to get a unit number from cdol. I just tried a random ward, got the number, pasted it into the field and clicked on 'continue'. I then could choose a missionary from that ward. Very easy and cool!
