Multiple notifications on activities

I am getting multiple notifications for the same activity at the same time. It’s a bit irritating to have a whole bunch of notifications pop up and dominate my screen. Is there something we are doing wrong in entering our activities?

I'm sorry to hear you are having problems with the Gospel Living app, I would like to get some more information from you so I can help troubleshoot the issue. Can you tell me what version of the app you have? You can find it in the Profile tab under About.
Did you create the activity or were you invited?
Do you have any children that were invited to the same activity?
Is this happening for every activity or just once in a while?
