Bug with Highlights

I'm running into similar. I am working on a new study journal as I take an institute class, and found as I am starting that I have no issues marking and annotating on my iPad, but don't seem to be able to highlight in Firefox. Checked Chrome and same issue. I can select the text, and can click on journal at the bottom, but it doesn't mark the text I had selected, and doesn't give me the annotating options that are shown in the help video about how to annotate.
