Scripture narrator preference doesn't save

Discussions about the Notes and Journal tool on LDS.org. This includes the Study Toolbar as well as the scriptures and other content on LDS.org that is integrated with Notes and Journal.

Scripture narrator preference doesn't save

#1

Post by NathanWest »

When using the narrator feature on the web version of the scriptures, the narrator preference is not saved.

When I select female narrator, it will automatically revert back to the male narrator if I leave the page. This is true even when I'm logged in.

I feel like the preference should be persistent. It's not logged in, the preference could be stored in a cookie. When logged in, the preference should be saved with the account settings.

I agree that this is something that could be stored in a cookie. I'd recommend sending feedback using the link at the bottom of the page (or bottom of the left column) where you're listening.
