MLS 3.2.1: Unable to backup MLS database since patch upgrade

Our clerk computer got upgraded a little over 1 month ago. The old computer was running MLS 3.2, and MLS 3.2 was installed on the new computer by the STS at the time of the upgrade. Since the patch to 3.2.1 downloaded, we have been unable to backup the MLS database. Any attempt to backup results in the following error message:

"An error occurred when you tried to back up the database. Make sure you have sufficient space on the disk you are using for the backup."

The new clerk computer shows 66.0 GB of free space available.

The back up also fails when trying to back up to a flash drive or any other location.

This problem survived a clean install of MLS 3.2.1 and reboot.

We have now gone 2 weeks without being able to create any form of backup.

Any ideas?

This issue has been discussed in the thread backup database error. There is a temporary solution that is discussed there that may work until the developers come up with a solution.
