I assume this was a broadcast from SLC since I don't think a webcast from the stake center would be able to support that many users.

If they weren't use the church's webcasting portal, it wouldn't be hard at all.

No, it was a normal stake conference, broadcast from their stake center right there in Rockford. With the new servers, it can and did support that many users.

Yes, they were using the webcasting portal.

As I have mentioned, before, there have been many improvements.....to the portal, the media servers, and the client.

This was a special situation, but the maximum non-config sites has been raised with the new servers.

It seems to be working for me - at least I can log into the portal and look at scheduling.

The portal website went down for me around 11:15 AM today (Central time). The broadcast seemed to continue to work, but if anyone refreshed the page or navigated away from it, it wouldn't reload until around 11:30.

Yes, the portal had trouble over weekend due to our cloud provider. I apologize to those it effected. We are making adjustments to make sure this does not happen again.
