A few items that you REALLY want to get taken care of BEFORE scheduling a broadcast. 3 hours today getting all this figured out while on the phone with support. Not fun. Thank goodness for broadcast tests as this would be bad on the morning of Stake Conference.
1. Update your stake's Teradek to the latest firmware. If you don't the Teradek will connect to the Webcast but your stream won't come through.
2. Once your Teradek is updated you'll need to affiliate it with your stake in the console. At the top right there is a button for Teradek. Click it. There is a URL and other information which needs to be copied to your Teradek. (See the quick start guide) Open the Teradek web console with it's IP address on your computer. Settings, broadcast, and switch it from manual to automatic configuration. Paste the information from the Webcast 3.0 to the Teradek. Click on done. Turn off and restart the Teradek. You'll get some new messages on the Teradek that you haven't seen before. Wait. Eventually it will say Not Ready. When it switches to Ready go back to the Webcast 3.0 and check your Teradek there. If you have a green check mark you're good to continue.
3. Schedule your event. Pretty basic stuff here with one thing to watch out for: At the bottom right there is a box that says Other. Change it to your Teradek. If you don't the broadcast event will not connect and you can't edit this once the broadcast starts. If you make a mistake in any of this and you find out after the broadcast starts the event will have to be deleted and recreated. A new event has a 15 minute wait time before it comes online and the increments are based off quarter times on the clock. So if you create an event at 9:46am it cannot be started until 10:15am.
4. If you need to edit your event at all there is a bug. The dashboard will tell you that the Teradek is already in use. Change the Teradek back to Other, save the event, edit the event again, change Other to Teradek, and save the event.

Thanks for posting this info.
One correction. In your section 2, you actually have to have Manual mode selected (under Broadcast>Platform). Then, as you say the configuration URL obtained when registering your VidiU, is pasted into the Configuration>Remote XML field.
