I delete the the abn and insert www. It works every time. Often tech peeps do not check their work.
I'd recommend sending feedback using the Feedback link on the Church website, to let the website team know.

The Church website is not working on my husband's apple computer, but works on my pc. It opens with no toolbar at top and most features do not work and the "abn" url comes up on some features. Does anyone know what might be going on?

abn.churchofjesuschrist.org is used for A/B testing. You could try clearing the browser cookies for ChurchofJesusChrist.org. If that doesn't work, I would recommend sending feedback at the bottom of the Church website about the missing toolbar or broken features.

on a 2021 M1 MacBook pro, Safari, when we go to "scriptures" from the church landing page, we see the icons of the various books, then the server pushes us from [moderator edit: removed broken link] to
https://abn.churchofjesuschrist.org/stu ... 1648175881
and the new screen has no functionality.
This was apparently a widespread glitch pre-COVID in 2019 based on the thread, and we're writing to say - it's still a glitch.
My screen shot is attached.
Thank you,
Christine

Just a guess on my part, but was the broken link intended to point here?
https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/stu ... atform=web
In my browser (Firefox ESR), the above link redirects to one that appears comparable to the one that starts with "abn", but for me they both show what appears to be the Gospel Library.
One odd thing about the Church websites is sometimes one or more cookies gets too long and/or gets corrupted. Clearing the browser cache and deleting relevant cookies can often help if that's the cause of the problem.

By interesting coincidence, today, I received a reply about a different issue I had reported on the Church website. Paraphrasing:
If a URL starts with "abn", it's part of a developer test of different layouts. If the "abn" test is causing a problem, you can disable the test for that page by appending a query parameter to the end of the URL. If the URL already has a '?' in it (which marks the start of query parameters), add this to the end of the URL:
&mboxDisable=1
If the URL does not already have a '?' in it, add this to the end of the URL:
?mboxDisable=1
