Cannot access main Church website...?

I just came to report the same problem. Happens across multiple devices in multiple locations.

First, I figured out it has something to do with query parameters in the URL.

URLs that load well:
https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/
https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/?lang=eng

URLs that don't load:
https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/?l
https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/?fbclid=xxxxxxxx
https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/?lang=eng&f=

But using alternate browsers and incognito mode works so it's likely a local storage or cookie issue.

I have had a 2-minute delay with both firefox and chrome for quite some time when accessing the scriptures.

I specifically cleared the cookies and data for lds.org and churchofjesuschrist.org on both browsers and I get an instant response now.

I also cannot access the church website. General Conference talks, come follow me, YW/YW resources, scriptures, articles and main page items won't load. It's been happening for months, but I just hoped it would eventually resolve.

Have you tried clearing your browser's cache and deleting relevant cookies? Also, have you tried a different browser or a different user profile?

Clearing the cache and cookies for anything related to the church site seems to be helping a ton! Give it a try.

Same thing happened to my wife's laptop. Worked in Safari, but not Chrome. Most churchofjesuschrist.org websites came up all white -- no content (including the scriptures).
Chrome in Incognito Mode worked.
Based on one of these sites, I tried something, and it worked:
Open Chrome Preferences.
In the "Privacy and Security" category, choose "Cookies and other site data".
This gave the option of "See all cookies and site data"
In the search window, I typed "church", and all of the hits were from churchofjesuschrist.org.
I deleted all of them (there were about 10).

Then, I went to the failing website, and hit "refresh" -- it works great now!
FYI, I'm using a Mac computer; I don't know how this would look on a PC or other computer, but thought I'd share what worked for me.
