Where to download CES Fireside video file?

#1

Post by chchstake-p40 »

Hi there,

I was hoping someone may be able to steer me in the right direction. Previously on many occasions I was able to download various broadcasts from the LDS website in Quicktime or WMV format. This would help us as we could convert this into a DVD for our members to watch at a later time.

However now with the new video media player, I can't seem to access where the actual video files are located for me to download to view offline and convert over to DVD format.

Is there any way around this? I basically have until this Sunday to try and find a way to download the YSA CES fireside broadcast so that our Stake YSA's can watch it.

Many thanks,

Is it not the ones listed here on lds.org under
Gospel Library - Media Formats - Videos - Church Educational System Fireside Broadcasts ?

You can also goto http://institute.lds.org/ and click on "CES Firesides"

Or are you thinking about some other ones?

Looks like it's been posted now.

The text has been posted, but not the video, which is what is being sought.

Oops. I jumped the gun. You're right. I saw the entry and didn't notice the right side column.

Many thanks for your replies and efforts in this. Hopefully the downloadable file of Neil L Anderson's CES Fireside will become available in the next 48 hrs.

(fingers crossed)

Downloadable Files Awaiting Clearance

Hey there,

I happen to know that the downloadable files are awaiting Intellectual Property clearance before they can be posted (which is still 5 working days out).

If you need the video file I can look into it getting sent to you so you can have it in time.

That would be great. We have postponed showing this to our YSA's until the 3rd week in February, so if the video isn't up in a couple of weeks I might take you up on your offer.

Many thanks!
