New Signature Card shows as "pending"

#1

Post by philwebb »

Ward recently split and I'm updating the signature card. I've printed and gotten the Bishopric's signatures, the uploaded the new signature card and after three plus weeks it still shows as "pending" on the new card, and has the old signature card still showing. I'm wondering if I need to do something else to get the new signature card approved and the old one deleted? Any ideas?

Did you ever figure this out? I just realized that our new signature is still pending...since August of last year, yikes! Only reason I think we haven't had any issues is because the previous clerk and myself have the same initials and our signatures just happen to be VERY similar.

New Signature Card continues to show as "pending"

I printed a new signature card and obtained all of the necessary signatures. I uploaded the signed form according to the instructions on the bottom of the signature card, but nothing ever changed in the system (it still shows the old signature card). I then mailed it to the address shown on the old signature card a few weeks ago and the system still shows the old signature card and it says that the new signature card is pending. How can I get this resolved?

I expect a call to the Global Service Center by the Ward Clerk is the next likely step, as somebody will have to step in and manually fix the glitch.

And then if you are successful, please post here with that info. I imagine both the two previous posters on this thread somehow got their issue resolved, but looking here at the thread, they never told us what they did!

I finally figured out my blocker for getting the new signature card past "pending" for two weeks. I found out that once I as a clerk entered the electronic signature card, the Bishop has to log in to the Finance section and "approve" it. Once he has approved it, it appeared automatically and replaced the old one. From now on, I'll remind the Bishop once we have a new card to search in his action list once he logs into LCR. Easiest solutions are the best solutions.

LCR > Finance > Reports > Signature Cards. Click 'Update Card' button and then click 'Print Card' button. Cancel the print dialog. Now the new card image/file can be uploaded in the "Upload signed card here" box by either clicking the Choose file link or by dragging and dropping the file in the box.
