How long before callings in MLS sync to give me "leader and clerk" access on lds.org

I'm the new ward clerk and I've recently updated the callings list in MLS, two days ago. I was wondering how long it takes for those changes to sync or propagate through so that I can get to the leader and clerk tools online at lds.org and for the leadership directory.

We've been told up to 48 hours. You might check the CDOL to make sure they've made it that far and that they are not in orange (custom position).

It should be in the CDOL almost immediately after the send/receive.

Except Ward clerks currently go through the manual review process, so a human has to look at it. It won't show up there until that happens. And then that evening it will get picked up to sync to the access system for the other tools.

In this case the position is there now and should allow access tomorrow.

In my case my calling as a clerk was entered into MLS on a Sunday at about 2:30 PM local time, 5 hrs later I had access to CDOL.

Heh, I think we (were in your case) in the same boat... I was just (re)called to be the ward clerk after about a 7 year hiatus and I'm itching to get back to it. I've been checking the directory all day to see if the MLS changes have taken effect on lds.org yet.

HEh,I have same thing gooing on I am new asistant stake clark technowlegy spechelist can see my self in the cd on lds.org have to check MLS st see if it is a standerd msl calling not a custum but the leeder tool and clark tool have not apperd in the list yet

You just need a little patience.

You're in CDOL (new calling as of today) but it takes overnight to get into the authorization system. See here for more details

all tools have turn on now but just says asistant stake clark and not the Stake Technology Specialist enyone have a clue how to up date to my proper calling of asistant stake clark Stake Technology Specialist

Ask the Stake Clerk to confirm that you have indeed been entered into the Stake MLS computer correctly.

This is how my STS calling is displayed in CDOL - Stake Assistant Clerk--Technology Spc

I've checked your entry in CDOL and you are correct that you have been entered as a Stake Assistant Clerk

If you aren't entered correctly, it could mean your not getting access/pointed to resources specifically for an STS.
