Addresses on year end tax statement

Addresses on year end tax statement

What is the source of the addresses printed for members on the year end tax statements? I see a couple statements with a mailing address that I can't find listed in their membership record. Even stranger it only appears on the statements of some of the household members, not all.

Make sure the donation record is linked to their membership record.

Not sure how it works now, but back in the MLS days, it wasn't unusual for a new ward member to have their donation processed before the membership record was moved in. That forced the finance people to make some kind of non-member/out of unit record for them. And when their records did arrive, there was nothing to nudge the finance people to connect the donor record to the membership.

To check whether their donor record is linked to the membership record using LCR, find the donor name in the Participants tab and make sure they are listed as 'Member' (and make sure there aren't two entries in the Participants tab).
