Our standard practice with Bishop's Storehouse Orders has been to enter the monthly amount as a non-check expense each month. That way the bishop could watch all the ward's welfare expenses, not just those that had a check attached.
This practice was instituted years ago under the direction of a prior Stake President who wanted to make sure our Stake was a "Donor" Stake. Our current Stake President has not brought it up during ward conferences but that may be just because everyone is still doing it.
Reasoning aside, does anyone know if Bishop's Storehouse orders will show on the CUFS and, if not, will we be able to enter them manually? I personally don't care either way - just want to prepare my bishop.

I suspect this worked simply because Fast Offerings were always reimbursed and so the balance was always zero. Because the balance matched, it may have hid the discrepancy between MLS and CUFS.4ward4ever wrote:Our standard practice with Bishop's Storehouse Orders has been to enter the monthly amount as a non-check expense each month. I think we'll want to see what the CUFS statements are like, and see if it would lead to any problems before doing that in the new system.
