Class sizes for 11-14 year olds

Postby cobba » Thu Nov 22, 2018 2:31 am

I am in the bishopric and was asked by my bishop to research information about class sizes for 11, 12, 13 and 14 year olds.

Is there any policy guidance on this, about maximum class sizes for these age groups? I tried looking in Handbook 2 under 10.6.2 and11.4.3. Apart from that I can't see anything else.

Thanks in advance!

I'm not seeing any hard guidance. I suspect this is all up to local leadership. Factors would include:
  • If the ward has enough adults to lead another class.
  • If the building has enough rooms for another class.
  • If the children would benefit from a smaller class.
