Disappearing/Reappearing Members

Disappearing/Reappearing Members

I'm a stake clerk outside of Boise, ID. Yesterday, it was brought to my attention that some wards are seeing members disappear -- that is, they're no longer listed in MLS, despite the fact that they haven't moved and they should be listed in the records. Then (after doing an MLS send/receive), they magically reappear in the MLS. Cool trick.

Now, just an hour ago, I learned our Stake Patriarch's membership record has now disappeared out of MLS. A send/receive was done, but his membership record is still gone. We have confirmed he's still in his house, hasn't moved and hasn't been translated.

Any ideas on why this may be happening?

Has anyone else experienced similar problems?

This is a known issue in MLS, best bet is to contact Clerk Support for help.
