Can an executive secretary or other person substitute for the clerk in a Stake disciplinary council?
I'm the Stake Clerk, and neither I nor my assistant clerk will be able to attend a council coming up. The handbook lists who should be there and who can substitute. It doesn't mention substitutes for the clerk, however the paragraph that begins "Without exception" doesn't say anything about the clerk either.
I realize that any substitute would not have access to submit the online form. I would expect him to provide his handwritten notes to me, so that I could submit it.

With the approval of the stake president, I believe someone who otherwise meets the qualifications* of a clerk may substitute for you. We have asked our executive secretary to do this on occasion.danred99 wrote:Can an executive secretary or other person substitute for the clerk in a Stake disciplinary council?
