Looking for help as I make my ward's children and youth order from the online store. The instructions say that emblems of belonging will not be charged to units but emblems of achievement will be charged to units. The instructions also say that clerks should order all emblems of belonging and achievement in a single order.
The emblems of belonging have associated costs in the online store. My expectation was that as I get to the point in the checkout process where I select the option to bill the order to the ward, the costs for the emblems of belonging would come off leaving only the cost for the emblems of achievement. Maybe this is too much to ask? As I am trying it now, the full cost of the order continues to show up all the way until the last click (which I haven't done yet).
I just don't want to have a charge of several hundred dollars to the ward - even if there is a way to get everything corrected later, I assume it is much easier to prevent the issue up front.

Re: Children and Youth Emblem Order
When you place the order, it will automatically be divided into two orders: one for the Emblems of Belonging, and the other for Emblems of Achievement crystals. The Emblems of Belonging order will be covered by Church Headquarters, and the crystals will be billed to the ward.
My understanding is that after this initial order, any future Emblems of Belonging will be billed to the ward (the Instructions say that replacement emblems should be ordered after June 1. I don't know if "replacement" in this instance means that it will still be billed to Church HQ.)

Thank you. Is this order division visible before you place the order, or will it only show the divided order after you place the order?allenjpl wrote:When you place the order, it will automatically be divided into two orders: one for the Emblems of Belonging, and the other for Emblems of Achievement crystals. I placed a single order on January 27th. The Achievement crystal was placed into one order, and all the Belonging items were placed into a separate order. I can see that by looking at the My Unit Order History page in the online store.

If I recall correctly, the order division is not visible before you place the order. But so you can have a little peace of mind, none of the C&Y materials are currently ready to ship, meaning even if they were going to charge you lots of money, that won't happen before you have a chance to correct it.jonnyfredrickson wrote:Thank you. I am finalizing my order for these items but the store says I am limited to a total of 40 items in my cart. Should I break up the order into groups of 40? should I order all of the achievement crystals in one order (17 of them)? then the Young Men rings in one order (43 of them). then the medallions for the young women in an order (42 of them)? Then the pendants (12 of them)? then another order for the children rings (89 of them)? that would mean I would have to make about 9 orders?

I'm not sure why you're getting that message, but definitely don't break it up into multiple orders. There doesn't seem to be a hard limit of 40 items for either a personal order or a unit order. Unfortunately, the Distribution Center helpline is closed until Monday.confuzedmale wrote:I am finalizing my order for these items but the store says I am limited to a total of 40 items in my cart.
