No photos in beta directory

Hi,

I am a membership clerk and when I upload a new photo it appears on a black background with no direction on how to keep it on the new directory. When I close the page, the picture I just "uploaded" is not there.

Update

When I closed the directory and re-entered the beta site, I was able to upload pictures. Firefox 17.0.1, Windows XP SP3. I will post the picture problems in other threads that apply.

I could not load a photo when I first logged into the beta. The progress bar was grey. No further activity. Otherwise, it operated as expected. I closed the tab and opened the beta again. Then adding photos worked just fine.
