The LDSTech IDE has been upgraded to the recent released Eclipse "Kepler" http://www.eclipse.org/kepler/. The detailed release notes can be found in the New and Noteworthy http://tech.lds.org/wiki/LDSTech_IDE_2.1.
We've released a beta for now so the adventurous can try it out. This release should be compatible with existing LDSTech IDE 2.0 workspaces. You can even upgrade your existing IDE without having to download and unzip a new distro.
* If you wish to download a new distro you can find the beta: https://code.lds.org/nexus/content/site ... -ide/beta/
* If you wish to upgrade your existing distro you can find the instructions: http://tech.lds.org/wiki/Switching_to_Beta_IDE_Channel
Have fun and post any problems you find in the forum.

Re: LDSTech IDE 2.1 Beta Released!!!
in OSX, Upgraded in place, tried to start an LDS Tech Tomcat 7 server on a stack 3.3.0 project of an existing workspace and got
Error occurred during initialization of VM
java.lang.Error: Properties init: Could not determine current working directory.
at java.lang.System.initProperties(Native Method)
at java.lang.System.initializeSystemClass(System.java:1115)
Error does not occur on my pet store servers.

Re: LDSTech IDE 2.1 Beta Released!!!
Looks like on Mac OSX when eclipse prompts you to "restart" after upgrading it doesn't really "restart". You actually need to quit and then start again.
