Availability of Welsh scriptures online
Welsh (Cymraeg) was the 3rd non-English language translation of the Book of Mormon, completed and published in 1852. It seems that the Welsh translation has not yet been made available digitally. Are there plans to do so, and if so, what is the timeline?

Re: Availability of Welsh scriptures online
I did find a PDF on the church web site: https://www.lds.org/bc/content/shared/c ... 06_cym.pdf
It does look like it's sorely in need of an update. How many people currently speak Welsh? Do most Welsh speakers also speak English?

There are 536,890 Welsh speakers. Many also speak English, but I'm sure Welsh speaking members would appreciate the update into the Gospel Library app.

Re: Availability of Welsh scriptures online
Language availability of materials follows the Church's world-wide plan for langauge publishing, which is based on number of members who speak a language, among other things. If you would like to see more/better access to scriptures in Welsh, please go to LDS.org. On the bottom of the screen click on Feedback. When filling out your feedback form, choose Scriptures and Suggestion. For your comment, include the same information as above. This way, your comment will get to the scripture department 9or whatever it happens to be called!).
