Ordinance Record Form won't look up 11-year-olds
Have an 11yo becoming a deacon in December. Trying to create an ordinance record form for the bishop to sign. MLS won't "look up" any members younger than 12. This used to work at one time, it really did...

The chooser age check is for age greater than 11 years and 11 months. Today is November 18, so you should see anyone who turns 12 on or before December 18. If they turn 12 on December 21, check back in three days.

Ah, so I wasn't crazy; I was just being ambitiously early. Thanks.

I did these all quarterly in my time as a ward clerk, this change would've driven me crazy also

Re: Ordinance Record Form won't look up 11-year-olds
With some youth from separated families coming to Church only every other week, it seems that one month is not quite enough time to plan ahead. A quarter seems to me to be more reasonable.
Besides, by the time October rolled around, we always tried to have everything lined up for the rest of the year, so we didn't have to worry about it through Thanksgiving, tithing settlement, and Christmas.
Then again, back in those days we didn't have a form to print out anyway, and we managed just fine.

The current behavior (11 years, 11 months) was implemented in January 2006.

I brought this up as a potential change in MLS. We're going to leave it as is in MLS and revisit the question when that functionality is added to LCR.
