Custom Group for Send a Message Application

I am an assistant clerk over membership. My bishop and I were recently reviewing some of the new features of the Leader and Clerk Resources and we came across the Send a Message application. We were very pleased. Well done to those who created this. This is an excellent resource that will save a great deal of time.

My bishop asked me to inquire if there is a way to create a custom group so that we can send messages to groups that aren't listed under the two main lists (leaders, members).

There is not a way to create a custom group.

if you or the bishop have LDS Tools on a smart phone or tablet, there is an excellent way to easily create custom lists for email...... And that's another reason I love LDS Tools! it is now my main "go to" app for many church queries.
