MLS Won't Run After Windows 10 Upgrade

After the automatic upgrade to Windows 10 MLS will not run. It says it only works with Windows 7 and Windows XP.

Downloaded updated version of MLS at https://www.lds.org/help/support/mls-download?lang=eng. That fixed MLS.

We have run into some issues where an over-the-top install creates additional issues. The best option is to set compatibility mode. We are working on pushing updates to machines with the Church configuration client installed to set this automatically.

Would the MLS update work if you do the update before the clerk computer is upgraded to windows 10?

I would not do anything. There is an MLS update going out today that addresses the compatibility issue that popped up last week. The best thing you can do is to stay the course.

If MLS is fully upgraded and won't run, there are instructions that appear on the screen, after the Windows 10 upgrade, to change the program to run in compatibility mode for Windows 7. I haven't had to do this on any of the computers that were upgraded in our stake (10 so far).

problem solved. i had just completely clean uninstall the mls using Iobit uninstaller https://download.cnet.com/IObit-Uninsta ... 61625.html, and reinstall it.
