MRN or birth date is not valid.

I'm trying to update my LDS account with my MRN but it says either MRN or birth date is not valid. Today I got my MRN and the birth date linked to it with the ward clerk. Also, I tried to see if I had done any LDS account before by clicking the link forgot my username and filling in the MRN and birth date options. Unfortunately, it didn't work out. It just says that the account already exists. Please help me to figure out what is wrong!
