Designating more than 7 assistant ward clerks

Our stake clerk is attempting to designate another assistant ward clerk for our ward, however there are only 7 assistant ward clerk positions available. How can we designate an 8th assistant ward clerk?

Write it in on the form and mail it to Church headquarters.

Before doing that, you might try using the "Special Request" from MLS or LCR to see if they'll add the 8th clerk. If it can't be done, you'll find out quicker.
