Another thing that may help is to clear the browser cache and delete the cookies. Some have found that fixes it for them.wonderdadto4 wrote:There's a sister in our ward who's getting the error stating her membership record isn't linked to her church account. She's confirmed that her membership number appears in her account settings, she has tried on both mobile and desktop browsers, and she's tried periodically starting a couple weeks ago up to just a few minutes ago.
Has anyone heard any updates on this issue or are we still waiting to see? Has anyone who previously had this issue subsequently been successful?

Re: Youth Protection Training Log In Problems
I am helping a friend in our ward to complete the Youth Protection Training. She setup a church account about a year ago but she does not know the user ID or password for that account. she just setup a new church account to do this training but she cannot link her membership number to the new account because it is linked to the old account. Attempts to recover the old account ID fails because we always get links for her new account. How should she proceed? Is there a way to just delete an old account, If so how can she do it?
Thanks for any help you can give us.

A membership number can be linked to only one account. Now that she has created a second account, she should work with her ward/branch clerk who can get her in contact with the Service Center. They are the only ones who can merge/delete accounts.

IIUC, if she were to delete her old account, she might lose online access to her donation history and a few other things. Unless there is _nothing_ of importance connected to the old account, the best solution is to merge the accounts. For that, have her contact her ward clerk. He can arrange to have the Global Service Center merge the accounts.

Thanks for your response - We will contact the Service Center. I would imagine that they are busy..
