duplicate notes, tags, highlight etc..

Last November all my notes, tags highlights and links multiplied into double of everything in my tools. I was told by support to just delete the duplicates, but the duplicates didn't duplicate a mirror image sometimes leaving off a note or notebook connection. there is no way to know which note I am deleting (the duplicate or the original), I am just given the choice to choose one of the highlights. The one thing the duplicates all have in common is the date of November 26, 2018. Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone have a fix for this? Frustrated

I don't think there's a convenient way to bulk delete notes, in either the new or the old Notes tool. Having a common date would make it potentially quick for a programmer to write a script to delete them, but the church hasn't exposed APIs that I'm aware of for the tool. I think you're in an unfortunate situation with your notes. I know you're frustrated, but I don't think there's anything you can do easily unless the church programmers faced a widespread problem at wrote a tool to delete duplicates.

Yes it is happening to me as well. Many Duplicates that I can't delete, can't edit, can't rename. I hope that the programs figure out how to fix the many problems that I am experience and make NOTES user friendly.
If Google Docs and other Cloud programmers can Why not someone that has help from above the clouds?

Did your duplicates just happen? Did they occur on things you were editing. A little over a week ago, the church introduced some changes that caused me a lot of problems. As of today I think they are fixed. In one place I had a quadruplicate of a note. Was it just certain notes, or all notes duplicated? If all your notes are duplicated, then maybe you're experiencing a different problem.
