Search not functioning?

I have been having trouble with search working on the Gospel Library. I’ve attached an example screenshot (which didn’t bring up the normal dialogue box asking if I wanted to send feedback. Is that gone?)

I did a search for “which is true” which should have at least brought up Alma 32:21, but as you can see came up with 0 results. Is anyone else having issues with search?

After upgrading to 5.3.0, the content will need to be reindexed for search. How long the reindexing takes depends on how much content you have downloaded (but should be somewhere between 2 and 30 minutes). While content is being indexed, only partial results show. Does search work for you now?

Nope. Is there something I’m supposed to do to prompt it to reindex?

Interesting. It looks like you do have results in other categories, just not scriptures. You could try removing and re-downloading the scripture books, which will index them again.

I had to delete and reinstall the entire app to get it to work.

Did you have to reload everything once you did? I’m having the same problem, but don’t want to lose tags, notes, highlights, etc.

As long as GL is able and up to date with it's sync, it will come back.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

You won’t lose tags or notes. They’ll redownload when you sign back in with your LDS ID.

In following the Prophet's instructions the LDS Account has been renamed Member Account.
