2020 Children and Youth curriculum items

#1

Post by cchang »

I thought I read somewhere that the new 2020 Children and Youth Curriculum packets and teaching materials would be sent to each unit. Has there been some communication on what all 2020 teaching materials and curriculum will be sent to each unit? I know the only one was the new 2020 Come Follow Me - Individuals and Families were sent to the units and we have received them. I am planning to order the 2020 Come Follow Me - Primary and Sunday School curriculum materials but would like to order the new children and youth curriculum materials if they are available to order online or where?

We received our guidebooks last week. The order was automatically generated.

The online store displays a large message:
This guidebook is currently not available for purchase. Wards and branches will automatically receive copies end of December 2019. Leaders and members will be able to purchase additional copies in January 2020.

You should have ordered your 2020 Come Follow Me - Primary and Sunday School curriculum materials several months ago.

Ordering it now because the primary and Sunday school presidencies never gave me the amount they want ordered. Would this fall under the clerk’s responsibility to ask how many they want or should the organizations provided it to you? Hope we get it in time by 2020.

Yes. I asked Primary and Sunday School in August 2018 and August 2019. When they ignored my request, I just kept asking them until I got an answer from them. Even then, they asked me to order more as we approached the new year when they learned that each class must have two teachers.

We have only received the 2020 Book of Mormon 'Come Follow Me' manuals for Individuals and Families in our Ward. I searched on the online store, and do not see the Primary or Sunday School teacher version of these. Does anyone know if those have been or will be released?

Login to the online store.
Click to open the Units and Callings menu.
Select Annual Curriculum.
You should see the Sunday School and Primary manuals.

I ordered them online early this week but have not received confirmation they have been shipped yet.
