AutoScroll?

I don't know what others might think of this, but I would quite like an autoscroll option. Something where instead of having to constantly scroll down the page (iPhone especially), I could set a speed and at the push of a button (or some screen gesture) the text would flow smoothly down the screen at a pre-set rate suitable for me to read, then stops when I press and want to highlight/annotate etc.
No biggie, just an idea.

For those of us who have to use a large font, auto scroll would be so helpful. It’s hard to constantly have to use your fingers. It really hurts those with arthritis.

There is a glitch on iPhones that has the effect of auto scroll. As far as I am aware, this only works on Apple iPhones though. To cause the glitch, first make sure the header/top bar is showing (the part that says what you are reading). If that is showing then you can hold down on any word to get the blue text selector to appear. (That is the thing with the 2 sliders to choose what words to highlight). Make sure to highlight a word near the bottom of the screen! Next, grab the second slider, AKA the bottom slider, and slide your finger to the top of your screen. This should cause you screen to scroll upwards. DON’T let go yet, once you have slid the screen a couple verses up, slide you finger back down to the VERY bottom of the screen. I’d done properly, the screen should start moving back down. Lastly, while the screen is sliding, click on any footnote or the search tool with a different finger. And boom, auto scroll. It may sound complicated, but once you understand how to do it, it is easy and quick to add auto scroll! TIP: the speed the screen is scrolling when you click on a footnote or the search tool is the speed that the auto scroll will be set to. Sadly, the auto scroll goes away if your phone is turned off or if you go to a different chapter. Hopefully someone sees this, and finds this helpful! Reply if you do!
