LCR Access Denied

I have been having the same problem for the past week. I am a ward relief society president and can't access our ministering information.

The way that we have resolved this problem is to have people change their password. It seems that there may be a new password policy in place that instead of being applied uniformly is causing the problem. Once I have had people change their password, the problem has gone away.

That's .... interesting. I thought it was all Single-Sign on and that's the only part that's concerned with the password.

But you can't argue with success.

However, after changing the password, they need to update their Gospel Library app before it locks them out. See this post.

Agree that it is weird that folks are still able to log in to some places with no problem but can't in others but changing password has fixed the problem for multiple people in our ward. And those that have to change password regularly, i.e. church employees, haven't had the problem at all.

As stated, this then means you have to sign in with your new password in Gospel Library and many other apps. Not exactly a user friendly process for those that aren't used to dealing with this type of thing in a work environment.

Just as a suggestion: make sure any privacy mode or restriction on cookies is turned off. Also, check the iOS version. I'm wondering if older browsers are being denied.

Our ward leadership experienced this as well, it appears that the only calling that is assigned in the ward is the Bishop. I am currently the Elder's Quorum President and am being denied in both my iPhone app as well as on the LCR website. Has this issue been reported to the Church's IT team?

This is a user-to-user support forum rarely frequented by developers. Issues get reported to those who can fix them through Feedback at the bottom of most Church website pages or through the apps themselves. So there is no real way to know if anyone has reported the problem, or if you have.

Is a STS (Assistant Stake Clerk) suppose to have access to LCR?

On the "Handbooks and Callings" > "Stake or District Callings" > "Additional Callings" > "Stake Technology Specialist" > "Resources" page (https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/stu ... s?lang=eng), it shows:

"Additional Resources on ChurchofJesusChrist.org for Your Calling"
- Leader and Clerk Resources (LCR)

But... I get the "Access Denied" message.

I DO have access to other areas (tm. and webcast.) but not lcr.
